Venice Energy is developing the Outer Harbor LNG Import Project (the Project) that will import and supply gas into the network to improve energy security for South Australians. Located within Outer Harbor at Port Adelaide, the Project will create around 350 jobs during construction and 50 full time positions once the terminal is operational. Venice Energy will provide a range of opportunities for local suppliers and contractors and is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitable suppliers.
The Project has completed a Development Application (DA) which has assessed the environmental, social and economic qualities of the Project. This DA has formally been lodged with the State Commission Assessment Panel (SCAP) and is currently available for viewing on the Planning Portal.
