Community – Outer Harbor LNG project

Community context

Venice Energy is constructing a LNG import terminal, the Outer Harbor LNG Import Project (the Project) that will import and supply gas into the network to improve energy security for South Australians. Located within Outer Harbor at Port Adelaide, the Project will create around 350 jobs during construction and 50 full time positions once the terminal is operational. Venice Energy will provide a range of opportunities for local suppliers and contractors and is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitable suppliers.

The Project has received construction approval from the South Australian Government through assessment of a Development Application (DA) that assessed the environmental, social and economic qualities of the Project.
